Heidi Ogaard

I graduated from Interstate Business College in May of 1995. I decided to move to a small town and work for Ackre and Baer Law Firm in Cando, North Dakota. I learned every aspect of the legal field from farming to how to protect that farm after the farmer’s demise. Met the man of my dreams where I swooped him up and brought him to Fargo, married him and have three beautiful children. Three decades later still loving the law and watching it grow and evolve in technology. I enjoy the new age law with less litigation and more collaboration where people can better themselves and everyone around them. In April 2024 attended a Seminar in Bismarck in Collaborative Divorce Training presented by The North Dakota Collaborative Divorce Group and The State Bar Association of North Dakota. Wonderful presentation and who knew you could get a divorce collaboratively instead of combatitively. Almost 30 years later and still enjoy meeting new people and assisting them in obtaining their goals.
